Bourne Man Arrested on Drug Charges After Passing Out in Wareham Restaurant Parking Lot
WAREHAM — Wareham Police arrested a 33-year-old Bourne resident Thursday night after finding him passed out in a parked vehicle in a restaurant parking lot.
At approximately 7 p.m., Wareham Police Officer Eric Machado and Wareham EMS personnel responded to the area of the Five Guys Restaurant on Route 28 in Wareham, regarding a male who possible overdosed and was passed out in a parked vehicle.
During investigation of the incident, officers located three plastic baggies containing approximately seven grams of suspected heroin, and two baggies containing approximately four grams of suspected fentanyl, along with three suspected Oxycodone pills wrapped in a dollar bill, two crushed Quetiapine Fumarate pills, and 15 Clonazepam pills. A used syringe was also found on the driver side floor of the vehicle.
The sole occupant of the vehicle, 33-year-old Doug Crabtree, Jr. of Bourne, was transported to Tobey Hospital by Wareham EMS. Crabtree has been criminally charged with possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance (fentanyl); possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance (Oxycodone); possession with intent to distribute a Class A substance (heroin); and possession with intent to distribute a Class C substance (Clonazepam).
