Bob’s Sea and Ski Raises Upwards of $36,000 for Special Olympics

A feel-good story about a small local business with a very large heart.

Fairhaven's very own Bob's Sea and Ski has collaborated with Outfront Media and together they've raised $36,417 for SOMA (Special Olympics Massachusetts) through their annual event.

About a week ago, Bob's Sea and Ski hosted their annual Ski and Snowboard event at Loon Mountain Resort in commemoration of Jim Haskins. Haskins was a longtime volunteer and important figure in the SOMA family whose efforts helped the Special Olympics community in Massachusetts in a big way.

Owner Bob Mercer and Pam raised $416 more this year than last year, as they celebrated their 24th Annual Special Olympics Benefit Trip in Memory of Jim Haskins, but also enjoyed the day on the slopes of Loon Mountain.
