Colecovision Is Back

So, around the holidays, I was walking around Stop & Shop in North Dartmouth yesterday, looking for some cards for my son's class party, and I still can't believe what I found in the seasonal aisle.

Of course I didn't find the cards. Instead, I found an absolute blast from the past; ColecoVision.

I remember the games from when I was a kid. I didn't really dabble with the system myself, since I was in a pretty elite and intense Atari ring but I definitely messed around with it a couple of times.

I was shocked to see the retro game system in a Stop & Shop, let alone an actual tech-type store. It was only like 50 bucks though, which is way cheaper than one of the new systems.

So, if you're looking for a cheap, fun gift to get you thinking of days past, head to your local Stop & Shop and see if you can get your hands on one of these bad boys.
