Black Friday Survival Guide: 20 Tips
We all know that the holidays are stressful enough as it is, but add a little Black Friday craziness and you'll soon find you're going to need to prep yourself.
Here's a list of 20 think-ahead ideas that could very well help you out if you're a Black Friday shopper:
1.) Browse through every catalog and online discount savings
2.) Print out a printable map (Use google and search "City/Town Map"
3.) Charge your cell phone (Go above and beyond and purchase a mobile battery bank
4.) Stretching (stay limber)
5.) Rest up the day prior
6.) Choose your drinks and foods prior to shopping wisely (EX. Vavo's favas beans)
7.) Fill your gas tank (traffic and destinations)
8.) Find a list of your local coffee shops
9.) Use the restroom at your house before you leave
10.) Buy feet and hand warmers
11.) Stay hydrated, pack a couple of bottles of water in your car before you venture out.
12.) Overdress...you could always strip layers when needed. Better to have more than to freeze
13.) If you have kids, schedule a babysitter
14.) Convince a friend with a larger vehicle to go with you (more space for gifts/black friday buys) Downfall: Good luck with parking.
15.) If you drive a larger vehicle and you know that you won't be needing much cargo space... invite a friend with a more compact vehicle. Downfall: If you do find a great deal on something that you simply MUST take home, but you know it won't fit in your compact car... then you might be in a predicament.
16.) Bring along a spotter friend: Someone who can wait in line for you while you shop around.
17.) If shopping alone, bring a pair of headphones and an mo3 player to escape from the endless amount of christmas music that you will encounter in each store.
18.) Have a back-up tent if you know you'll be waiting a while
19.) Bring a fold-up chair in case... you might be waiting a while.
