Bishop Stang Defeats Bedford In Basketball Semi-Finals

Bishop Stang is moving on to the Division 3 State Finals Saturday.

The Spartans, who have made a habit of falling behind in the playoffs this season, opened the second half on a 9-0 run, breaking open a two-point halftime lead and cruising to a 63-43 win.

Bishop Stang will face Oxford, 45-44 winners over Hoosac Valley, on Saturday in the state final. Not a close game for the Spartans, the Bucs never got any closer than 12 points in the final quarter.

Best of luck to Stang in their quest for a state title on Saturday.
