Good news for anyone with a diary-free diet! You will now get to experience the deliciousness that many of us take for granted.

Ben & Jerry’s has officially announced that they are developing non-diary ice cream flavors.

The ice cream connoisseurs, known for their unique selection of variety and flavors, released a statement saying they “want to make sure these flavors live up to what Ben & Jerry’s is known for: enormous chunks, delicious swirls and a commitment to values-led ingredient sourcing.”

The company said that they received requests from the public for non-diary ice cream and they want to make sure the new additions pass lots of taste-testing before they are released.

Jerry Greenfield, Ben & Jerry’s co-founder, broke the news during an interview with U.K. newspaper the Metro. He revealed that the company would be using coconut milk or almond milk as the new base for their frozen concoctions.

The new flavors will be released next spring and we will be waiting!
