Do you remember a time when beer was JUST beer?

I stumbled on this funny article in the Boston Globe this week.

Times have changed.  Beer snobs are becoming very common.  You may even be one! The rise of craft beer has been jaw dropping.  Craft beers come and go like hit songs on the radio, now.  Beer snobs want to be the first to know about a new, cool, hip beer.  Then, when the craft beer becomes popular...it's on to the next obscure beer.

According to The Boston Globe, in 1980, the Brewers Association counted a mere eight craft brewers in the US, in 2015 they counted 4,225 craft brewers in the country and craft beer has now grabbed the market.

And, of course, beer festivals have become ever more popular. Just like Red White & Brew, people want to try the best beers around, and that's okay because some beers are just better than others.

If you want to try the best craft beers and you are thinking you might be a beer snob make sure you get your tickets to Red, White, and Brew at Buttonwood Park.
