BEARDED BANDIT'S BEARD WAS A FAKE!

Police in Seekonk have captured a man they think may be the bearded bandit.  A clean shaven man was arrested at the Seekonk Motel 6 (less than 1/2 a mile from the Bank of America that was robbed by the bearded bandit back in February.  A fake beard was found in the hotel room.

NEW BEDFORD #1 AGAIN

For the 12th year in a row, New Bedford in the #1 fishing port in the United States.  Fisherman pulled in 117 million pounds of seafood worth over 369 million dollars.  The big haul?  New Bedford scallops, of course!

PITBULL USED AS A WEAPON

New Bedford Police are looking for two men who broke into an apartment on Phillips Ave.  They were armed with knives and a pitbull.  The dog bit one of the tenants in the leg as the suspects robbed them of their money.
