FALL RIVER — For those who would like to begin a career as a bartender, there will be a brand new option available very soon.

Primo Bartending School will open its doors to students next Monday.

The school, located at 16 Granite Street, will offer a one-week day program and also will have night and weekend classes available.

According to The Herald News, Primo Bartending School is being run by James Primo III, and Shannon Raposo. The story says Raposo has been a manager at area restaurants for the past ten years, while Primo has been assistant manager of the Elks for several years.  The owners said they felt the area needed the school, especially with the new casino in nearby Tiverton.

Daytime classes are 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, with night classes running from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. Weekend classes are for two weeks from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
