Authorities Identify Body Found Underwater at Fairhaven Marina

FAIRHAVEN — Authorities have identified the body of a man who was found underwater at a Fairhaven marina earlier this week.

The Bristol County District Attorney's Office says Bruce Wickersham, 54, of Dedham, was the man found Monday night submerged between two boats at the Moby Dick Marina with a rope tied around him.

No foul play is suspected in Wickersham's death. The D.A.'s Office says the death is an apparent suicide.

The investigation following the discovery of the body was carried out by Fairhaven Police and Massachusetts State Police detectives assigned to the Bristol County District Attorney's Office.
