Born in New Bedford in 1990, I grew up with something of a flair for performing. Whether it was high school performances, college venues, or community theater, I was always looking for a way to satisfy the "acting bug." In 2007, I was introduced to WBSM through an internship from Greater New Bedford Voc-Tech, which provided me with a much more useful outlet for my creativity. Since 2008, I have worked in the WBSM newsroom, gathering news, covering stories, and relaying the happenings of the day to you. In 2011, I was given the reigns to the Saturday morning talk show slot, where I enjoyed bringing local happenings and discussion to you for nearly two years. In early 2013, I introduced the Southcoast to "Mid-Day Live," a news-oriented mid-afternoon program that led way to the "Taylor Cormier Show" that debuted in 2014 and ran through 2016. In April of 2016, I happily accepted the position of News Director, and continue to inform you of the major goings on in and around New Bedford every weekday morning. I work every day with my team to ensure that the information we provide you is current, relevant, and most of all, factual.
