Assonet Inn Closing After 81 Years

They've been around since 1936, but the Assonet Inn will soon be closing it's doors for good.

Families have been heading to Water St in Assonet for generations to enjoy tasty food in an old-time New England setting...but it will all come to an end soon.

The Assonet Inn posted on their Facebook page this week that they will be closing the restaurant for good on Sunday June 4, 2017.

If you've never been to this local eatery or have a gift certificate to use up, now is the time to get there!

And who knows what will happen during your meal...cause the restaurant is rumored to be haunted!
