Arrest Warrant Issued For Second Woman Involved In Donation Jar Theft

An arrest warrant has been issued for 24-year-old Andrea Early, the second woman involved in stealing a donation jar from a local liquor store.

Last week, two females stole the jar from the counter of Mark's Beverage on County St. in New Bedford.  The jar was set there to help out a customer's 4-year-old granddaughter who is battling cancer.

The first woman, 32-year-old Veronica Mello of New Bedford, turned herself in earlier this week.  Now New Bedford Police are looking for the other woman involved, and have issued a warrant for her arrest.  Early faces one count of larceny from a person.
