NEW BEDFORD - An arrest has been made in a series of shots fired incidents in New Bedford this week.

New Bedford Police say 20-year-old Jordan Michael Lamere of Granfield Street is charged with discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building, carrying a firearm without a license, property damage to intimidate, and carrying a loaded firearm.

Lamere is charged in connection to two shots fired incidents in the area of Pleasant and Franklin Streets, just north of Clasky Common Park, Tuesday morning.

There was also a shooting in the same area Monday morning, but Lamere has not been charged in that incident.

A Facebook page belonging to Jordan Lamere has multiple pictures of him holding firearms, including one with the caption, "Man i love Gloccccccks."

Police say the investigation remains very active and more charges may be forthcoming.
