A potentially deadly situation in Marion last night was defused with he help of a SWAT team.    30-year-old Jeffrey Tosca is accused of threatening to kill his family, neighbors and police officers at his cross neck road home.

police took a call from Tosca's mother earlier Saturday evening regarding the threats.  Tosca had been released on bail earlier in the day after a domestic situation.

A SWAT team rushed to the home and the neighborhood was secured.   Police tried to make contact with Tosca, and state police sent in a controlled robot with a camera.  Once they found out where he was in the house, they charged in and arrested the man.

When they searched the house, police found a loaded 357-magnum and a sawed off shotgun.   Tosca faces charges of threats to commit a crime and possession of firearms.    he'll be in Wareham Court on Monday.
