It just wouldn't be a Red Sox/Yankees series without some fireworks...and there were some in the Bronx last night.

In the bottom of the 4th inning, the Yankees had men on 1st and 3rd base when Francisco Cervelli hit a line drive to the infield right to the third baseman who threw the ball to second and then to first where the runner was called out. Yankees manager Joe Girardi came out of the dugout to have the play reviewed.

After being reviewed, the call was overturned by officials allowing the Yankees Catcher Brian McCann who was on third to score. Red Sox manager John Farrell stormed out of the dugout to argue. with officials that there was not enough evidence to overturn the call and was thrown out of the game. After the game, Farrell said there was no conclusive video to overturn the call. Boston Herald and said "We felt that it was clear that the replay was inconclusive, On the heels of (Saturday), it’s hard to have any faith in the system, to be honest with you."

What do you think? Does it look like the runner was out at first? Or was he safe?
