All 6 schools is the Amherst, Massachusetts district are closed today because the floors are too slippery.   The closing were announced on the system's website, which said it was do to "weather-related building issues."

The high school principal said there had been 22 reported falls throughout the schools yesterday because of slick floors.   He said the floors were waxed during the summer and yesterday's high temperatures melted the wax and made the floors very slippery.

I am sure many people were "floored" when they heard the reason for the closings.
