We finally saw a bit of winter weather yesterday, but I for one want more.

It has been a pretty mild winter for the SouthCoast with barely any snowfall to speak of, and it's kind of bumming me out.

I know most people think no snow is a good thing, but I'm not one of them.

Sure, driving in it stinks, shoveling it is no fun and seeing giants piles of it taking up valuable Target parking spaces isn't cool, but we should still have some snow.

This area of Massachusetts is literally seeing barely a quarter of the amount we typically do.

In fact, according to the US National Weather Service Boston, we usually average around 28 inches of snow at this point in the winter. This winter, just 4.7 inches!

Now I'm not asking for Mother Nature to bring us a blizzard or anything, but is one decent snowfall that we can go sledding in too much to ask?

My daughter has been talking about making a snowman for months and every time we get enough snow, it just melts away the next day.

February isn't over yet and last winter we saw plenty of March storms, so I know my snow wish is still a possibility. But I am starting to lose hope on the snow front and it is a bit of a bummer.

So is it just me hoping for more of the fluffy white stuff? Could you use a little more snow this winter too?
