A message to the Ice Bucket Challenge disbelievers. It's working. ALS has hit another major milestone today.

For the entire month of August, we have seen friends, family and celebrities dump buckets of ice over their heads in one of the strangest internet phenomenons I've ever seen. As the fad gained strength every day, people were questioning whether or not people were "really giving" to fight ALS. The answer is a resounding, "YES!" According to CBS Boston, The ALS Association has now topped $100 million dollars in a month. Compare that to that same time period last year? ALS received $2.8 million in donations. Some people may think it's silly, but the ice bucket challenge has other charities scrambling to come up with their own viral fundraiser.
