If you've ever shopped at an ALDI grocery store, you know that it's much different than the typical supermarket.  Between the shopping carriage deposit and their "bring your own bag" policy, its a much different shopping experience.

The discount grocery chain is based in Germany, and has been in business for over 100 years.  Besides having stores in 18 U.S. states, ALDI has locations in Germany, France, Great Britian, Spain and Portugal.  Most of the products are it's own brands.  The store specializes in staples, but also sells tools, small electronics and toys.

The Cranberry Highway location in Wareham is ALDI's newest store here in Massqachusetts.  You can also find stores in Raynham and Plynmouth.  The store opens at 9 A.M. and closes at 8 P.M., 7 days a week.  You'll also see fewer people working in the store.  However, they do hire people at higher wages than most other grocery stores.

See their weekly specials at www.ALDIUS.com.
