Acushnet Man Accused Of Stealing From Veteran Arrested

An Acushnet man accused of stealing from a veteran has been taken into custody.

Yarmouth Police say 36-year-old Kevin A. Lima was arrested in Plymouth at around 1 p.m. Thursday.

A week long search had been undertaken for Lima who was identified as the man who stole a beach bag containing hundreds of dollars, personal belongings, military identifications, and specially made hearing aids from U.S. Marine Veteran Robert Watson during a visit to Cape Cod Inflatable Park last week.

Lima will be transported to Barnstable District Court Friday afternoon for arraignment on charges of Felony Larceny Over $250, Felony Larceny Over $250, and Felony Intimidation of a Government Witness.
