Acushnet Christmas Tree Sale To Benefit Make A Wish

For the second year in a row, a group of kids are selling Christmas trees in Acushnet for charity.  Luke Niemiec tells Fun 107 that his kids were watching an NHL game last year when they saw a little boy's dream come true thanks to the Make A Wish foundation.  The family held a brainstorming meeting and decided to sell Christmas trees to raise money for the charity.  Enough money was raised to send one child to Disney World and another to Hawaii.  As they did last year, the Niemiec family purchased the trees and will donate every penny of the sales to the foundation.  Vanessa, Eva and Jacob will work each day to sell the trees until they are gone.  The trees are for sale in front of their father's business, Acushnet Alternative Heating.  The trees range in price from $35-$80.

Christmas tree sale hours:

• Sunday, November 26th 10am-4pm
• Monday-Friday 4pm-8pm
• December Saturdays and Sundays 10am-8pm
