Fun 107 has heard from numerous people on the Southcoast who say they have been scammed out of thousands of dollars by Dartmouth travel agency, Terry's Travel.

Kristin Mello and Jeffrey Ferreira had their wedding completely booked and were planning on it being the best day of their lives. With plans to celebrate with family and friends in Mexico Riviera on August 8th, excitement turned to nervousness as their wedding planner, Terry's Travel, had yet to get them important documents for things like plane tickets and hotel rooms.

When they called Terry's Travel offices, the employees said that they were simply waiting on the tickets and would have them in a few days. But when Mello went to the offices, she found that they were closed.

The couple and their guests say they are now out nearly $70,000...mostly in cash. They tell Fun 107 that they now have no destination wedding and no hope of Terry's Travel returning any of their calls.

Fun 107 heard from many victims who said they were also cheated out of money, including a bride set to get married in September and a college student who was supposed to be headed to Ireland.

The couple has since started a go-fund me page in hopes of raising funds to pay back their guests who have already books plane flights and hotel rooms.

Fun 107 and many other media outlets have tried to get in contact with the Dartmouth travel agency, but have been unsuccessful.

Watch the video down below of the couple from Acushnet who stopped by the Fun 107 studios to talk about how they and their guests were scammed by the travel agency Terry's Travel.
