Accident Route 140 and Route 6 in Dartmouth

If you are heading east route 6 and 140 in Dartmouth, you may want to choose an alternate way because there is a pretty serious accident that has things backed up.

According to WBSM's Neal White, there is an overturned pickup truck on the road, that has traffic backed up about a half a mile. Traffic is currently being diverted around the accident.

No word on how serious it is, or if anyone was injured. Police are on the scene. We'll keep informed as details come in.

Update 3:30pm - We are getting unconfirmed reports that two people were taken to the hospital. We are also hearing that the truck flipped on top of a car. No word on the condition of the driver of the truck.
