Academy Award Winning Women in P-Town This Weekend

It's all about Women in film at this year’s Provincetown International Film Festival, and some pretty big names will be accepting awards this week.

Academy Award-winning writer/director Sofia Coppola and Oscar-nominated actress Chloe Sevigny will be a huge part of the festivities. The event starts this Wednesday and runs through through Sunday, June 18.

Cape Cod Times says Coppola has been named 2017 Filmmaker on the Edge, Sevigny will receive the Excellence in Acting Award, and both will accept in public conversations at Fishermen Hall, 12 Winslow St.  Sophia Coppola at 5 p.m. on Saturday June 17 and Chloe Sevigny will appear at noon Friday the 16th.

If you are a movie and film-making fan and especially love these two very smart and talented actresses and film maker's, you will not want to miss their appearance.  It's not everyday that Hollywood comes to Cape Cod :)
