Hernandez was found not guilty on two counts of murder for the shooting deaths of Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtado at a traffic light in Boston’s South End on July 16, 2012. Hernandez was sentenced to four to five years on a gun charge associated with the incident. He is already serving a life sentence for the 2013 fatal shooting of Odin Lloyd.
