You can never be too safe even when partying with friends, so students at the University of Washington are working on a bracelet that monitors intoxication and dehydration levels.

According to FoodBeast.com, there is now a wristband that can help you identify which one of your friends has had a little too much for the night and visa versa. The bracelet links you through Facebook and allows a GPS through you and your friend's phones to keep tabs on each other from time to time.

The bracelet vibrates every so often and asks you to check in by squeezing it. Once you check in, it knows you're able to function by yourself and don't need any help. You can also link to other people who have the wristband on and keep or delete them through your phone.

It seems like a cool but somewhat intrusive way to stay safe...hey, if it works, I guess it's worth it! Though you would definitely have to make sure you or one of your friends are sober enough to check up on each other.
