A Television Classic Gets A New Twist

We've all been watching it year after year, but this Halloween a cartoon classic has a new addition.

It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown is one of my Halloween favorites! And on October 27th it will celebrate it's 48th anniversary.

But as families gather around to watch the classic TV special this season, they can bring even more to the experience.

HarperCollins has released a hardcover book titled It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown: The Making of a Television Classic. In it fans will learn what went into the creation of the special, see the full shooting script from the show plus get some amazing color stills from the TV classic.

But if you want the book on hand as you watch the show this year, I'd order it now. It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown will air on ABC next Wednesday night at 8:30pm.
