61-Year-Old Man Trying To Make It To The NBA

Apparently it's true, "Age ain't nothing but a number."

Calvin Roberts is 61 and has always dreamed of playing in the NBA. He's proving that you giving up on your dreams isn't ever an option. He's working to get into the best shape of his life and make a run at making it to the association.

According to the report in the New York Post, Roberts has played against Magic Johnson in college and was even drafted in 1980. He worked out with the Spurs, Clippers and Hawks in the past but never ended up on any of their regular season rosters, according to the report.

He's working every day to keep chasing the dream and that's pretty awesome if you ask me. He's reaching out to teams and just looking for a workout. Here's hoping someone is willing to "respect their elders" and take a flyer on this young man.
