Christine Stone told MyFoxBoston.com that her son Jonah was punished by the administration at Center School in Hopkinton after he showed a toy gun to a classmate.  She said the 5-year-old was given a half-day suspension because he brought the toy gun to school.  The Boston Globe reports that Stone plans to appeal the suspension.  She said that when she and her son met with an administrator and a school police officer, the Newtown shooting was discussed.  She said that forced her to explain the tragedy to her son.  She added that she plans to contact the American Civil Liberties Union of Massachusetts if her effort to appeal the suspension does not work.
