2014’s Best & Worst Pop Culture Moments

Like any other year, 2014 has had its fair share of high and low points in pop culture. 

For me the top pop culture moment of 2014 is actually a collection of intertwining moments focused around Taylor Swift. Tay-Tay was on top of her game in 2014!

It all started with her announcement that she's leaving her country roots behind and focusing solely on pop music. Then there was the release of "Shake it off," where she put all the haters in their place. Of course she followed up with the release of her full album, 1989, which of course is bonkers good. Now her hit "Blank Space" is tearing up the charts and she is just dominating the whole industry!

Combine all of that with her many charitable endeavors, like when she helped out a young girl who was being bullied right here in Massachusetts. T Swift was on top of her game in 2014 and left us with a host of impressive moments.

The low point of pop culture in 2014, for me, has to be the Kim Kardashian #BreakTheInternet photo shoot. First of all, she didn't break the internet. Second, I'm just over Kim K.

Not sure what's so great about seeing here bare bum that is probably fake.  Is she even famous for anything?  I think she's just famous for being famous!  Kim, put your butt away.
