There was a steady breeze coming off the water at the new Pier 3 location today for the New Bedford Seafood Chowderfest...and with that seabreeze came some winds of change and some rather surprising winners from the judges panel. The chefs at some local nursing homes will be asking for raises tomorrow morning. After blindly tasting all of the chowder, soups, and quohogs...the nursing homes completely dominated. Even the judges panel was stunned when they saw the results, which are listed below.
