The MuchMusic Awards in Canada are a somewhat casual event, with celebs, actresses and pop stars opting for fun fashion instead of dressy or fussy couture. Here's our red carpet rundown of how starlets like Taylor Swift, Demi Lovato, Lucy Hale and more looked at the broadcast in Canada last night (June 16).

Taylor Swift

T. Swizzle opted for a white body-con Herve Leger tank dress with black vertical stripes and a pair of Christian Louboutin heels. She adopted a bit of an edgy rocker look, thanks to her beachy waves and deep crimson lips. We've gotta say -- Swift has brought her A game to every red carpet she's walked this year.

Demi Lovato

Lovato donned a black, long-sleeved Saint Laurent dress, which hugged her figure and had a sparkly embellished neck-and-bustline. Black is the singer's signature hue and it was a terrific contrast to her shaggy, buttery blonde locks and to the plethora of peers who wore summer white.

Lucy Hale

The 'Pretty Little Liars' actress and aspiring country singer was fun and flirty in short, summer white. Those purplish heels provided a pop of color and contrast, and her caramel-kissed waves were effortless.

Brittany Snow

The blonde babe wore a black dress with polka dots on the sheer overlay. We wish that the sheer panel of the skirt cut off at the knee; the frock would be 10 times better without the extra fabric. As it is, it looks like the Louis Vuitton dress that actress Rachel Weisz misstepped in at the Golden Globes. Her choppy locks were extra cute, though.

Ed Sheeran

The British ginger kid was super casual. You'd never know he was an A-list songwriter from his uniform of casual jeans, blazer and Chuck Taylors. It works for him since he's about his music -- not his image.
