19-Year-Old Woman Killed in Fatal Car Crash in Taunton

A late Saturday night car crash claimed the life of a 19-year-old woman.

According the Taunton Gazette, Erin Noble was from North Dighton and died of injuries she had obtained from hitting a pole on Winthrop Street in Taunton. She was the only occupant of the 2001 green Honda Accord. The accident happened near Winthrop Street Motors.

Taunton police at the scene had to call for the Taunton Fire Department to bring the Jaws of Life to extricate Noble from the car.  Police are investigating the crash.
