14-Year-Old Charged In Murder Of Massachusetts Teacher

A 24-year-old Danvers High School teacher was found dead Tuesday in the woods behind the school.   A 14-year-old student at the school is now facing a murder charge.

Police started investigating after Colleen Ritzer of Andover did not return home from work, and did not answer her cell phone.  Blood was found in one of the school’s bathrooms, and the teacher’s body was found a short time later near the school.

The boy is facing an arraignment today on a murder charge.  he was reported missing Tuesday night after not returning home from school.  He was found late Tuesday night in Topsfield, a small town just north of Danvers.
