The Portuguese Feast is making a presence at aha! Night this Thursday!

The 102nd Feast of the Blessed Sacrament wants you to join them in celebration of Portugal's win over France! Portuguese Feast states that the committee will be having a "Mini Feast" at Customs House Square. This event will be happening on Thursday night at 6 p.m. on July 14th.

There will be demonstrations at the event making arches with fresh greens, flower-folding, and other arts related to Portuguese Madeiran. There will also be dances that capture the culture and tradition of the Madeira homeland. The dances will be performed by the award-winning Folkloric Dancers.

Popular foods that will be featured will be on sale for those at the event. For example, there will be cacoila and Linguiça in a tasty Portuguese roll. Also, children under the age of 12 can have hot dogs for free.

The AHA nights are free every month during the second Thursday in the downtown area. For more details about the scheduled events you can go to www.ahanewbedford.org.
