1.8 Million Pounds Of Ground Beef Recalled

WJAR News Channel 10 is reporting the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service announced this morning that 1.8 million pounds of ground beef products are being recalled. The ground beef was sold for restaurant use in four states, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri and Ohio.

The products involved in the recall have the establishment number "25748" on them, as well as a production date code that looks like this: "Packing Nos: MM DD 14" between "03 31 14" and "04 18 14."

The Food Safety and Inspection Service is reporting 11 illnesses have been identified so far.
